Croix Rouge

On Saturday 19 November 2016, the Luxembourg Red Cross hosted a charity dinner to celebrate 20 years of the Red Cross Ball. The theme was the roaring twenties with the evening unfolding at the Tramsschapp.
Shine a light was in charge of the stage design and the event’s technical organisation.
Complementing the artwork created by Christian Lacroix for the invitations, we designed and produced a décor emphasising the colour black and featuring elements in gold.
Draped in black curtains with Italian-style openings, the room revealed several alcoves in which silent black and white films were projected onto black fabric. Large-scale kakemonos featuring art deco motifs surrounded by shimmering curtains gave structure to the space as a whole.
In the middle of the room, a majestic crystal chandelier presided over the scene featuring elegant art deco imagery and a starry background. The table décor alternated between ostrich plumes and golden pineapples.
During dinner, an auction led by Artcurial and hosted by Stéphane Bern raised a large number of donor pledges. In addition, a second silent auction took place at each table via an iPad with results instantaneously displayed on the screens.
