DOCLER HOLDING

When Docler Holding contacted us to organise its “White Party” on 28 May 2015, we decided to put a very personal spin on this universal concept, reflecting the values and standing of our client. The title “Crazy White Party” is a reference to the Crazy Horse show, specially summoned from Paris for the occasion.
A true ode to contemplation and celebration, the setting for this Crazy White Party drew its inspiration from a dreamlike spring universe, in which a mix of genres and materials harmoniously come together around the colour white. Particular attention was paid to the lighting so as to enhance the scene.
In order to accentuate the welcome area and to create a décor that would adapt to both day and night in terms of lighting, we designed and staged a horizontal ceiling featuring reflective balls held by wide ribbons, giving the illusion of a forest. The lighting beneath the golden spheres created an interesting play of shadows.
The imposing 50m2 entrance panel customised for the event set the tone for the evening, providing a balance to the aerial scenography throughout the foyer.
Within the Rockhal’s “Club”, the suspension of 4000 white flowers that dominated the 3m-diameter mirror table was a true technical challenge that required no less than 250 hours of work, in terms of both design and installation.
In the centre, multiple glass domes encasing white flower arrangements reflected off the mirror table, entering into a dialogue with the flower suspension.
At the far end, alternating panels and drapes lent further depth to the décor dominated by life-size elk heads and crystal chandeliers projecting a softened light.
A sophisticated dinner cocktail with gastronomic entertainment allowed the 200 guests to while the time away until the highly anticipated private Crazy Horse show, after which an explosion of confetti kicked off the dancing.
