ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (H/F)

As part of the development of its activities, Shine a light agency is looking for an Account Director (M / F).

Shine a light is an event communication agency based in Luxembourg, which creates and produces memorable experiences by highlighting brands and corporate messages. From the confidential product launch to the international conference, from the internal convention to the large-scale customer event, from the agile event to stand design, Shine a light intervenes from consulting to production.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

  • Master degree in a communication or business school.
  • Successful professional experience of 7 to 10 years in event communication field or events agency, with project management, customer portfolio management.
  • Excellent business skills to manage and develop customer relationship.
  • Good creative skills and be proactive in driving projects forward.
  • To have a real entrepreneurial attitude, to develop the turnover of the agency and to conquer new customers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg's business environment and its actors.
  • Good knowledge of various event solutions as part of a 360 ° communication strategy.
  • Good knowledge of trends in digital creation (video, web, app, motion design, VR, AR ...) in order to integrate these solutions into event concepts.
  • Perfect interpersonal skills to build a sales network and to work in a team.
  • Ability to quickly identify and understand the codes and values of a brand or company.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and editorial skills.
  • Managerial spirit to animate a team.
  • Know-how to manage stressful situations.
  • Good media culture, events and a culture of entertainment.
  • Excellent level of English required (written and spoken) to converse and present both oral and written event projects. The mastery of Luxembourgish could be an asset.

MISSIONS:

As a real operating partner, the account director acts as an ambassador of the agency with clients and prospects. He can be defined as a sales representative, a consultant, a coordinator and a manager.
In charge of farming a customer portfolio and developing client loyalty, he makes competitive strategic recommendations that will offer brands and companies a differentiated and striking communication. He must also position himself as a consulting partner with communication / marketing directors, helping them to anticipate social, economic and cultural changes.

  • Manage the commercial relationship with the various major accounts of the agency.
  • Through his knowledge of the Luxembourg market and its various players, identify niches of commercial opportunities.
  • Positioning upstream of the communication problems of customers and prospects in order to propose relevant solutions that integrate event solutions.
  • Being creative by generating new ideas in order to create thrilling event concepts.
  • Represent and promote all fields of expertise of the agency to develop new business opportunities with existing customers.
  • Manage the creative process on the projects, organize site inspections and source information about brand experience, product positioning, market analysis...)
  • Transmit customer requests to production and / or creation.
  • Write strategic event recommendations with a real concern for storytelling.
  • Be the guarantor of the creative added value of projects and analyze the relevance of an agency recommendation at the creative, strategic, technical and financial levels.
  • Animate brainstorming and present the concepts imagined by the team to the client. Explain the mechanics, justify and demonstrate the relevance of the choices.
  • Develop and manage event budget and costs using the CRM of the agency.
  • Write meeting documents (agenda, presentation, report)
  • Accompany the client from the design phase of the project to its implementation.
  • Coordinate the various stakeholders, set-up logistics on D-Day and manage the participants.
  • Establish the balance sheet and the analysis of events with customers.
  • Monitor events industry trends, communication and news of its customers / sector. Share information gathered with the rest of the agency.

PRODUCTION DIRECTOR (M / F)

REQUIRED PROFILE:

  •  Master degree in a communication or business school.
  • Successful experience of at least 5 to 10 years in a similar position.
  • Sensitivity to creative content in the audiovisual field (digital content, graphics, motion design ...)
  • Perfect mastery of event techniques (light, sound and video)
  • Knowledge of new technologies.
  • Knowledge of legislation (contracts, security, insurance, legal and regulatory obligations)
  • Anticipation of issues associated with event management.
  • Pragmatic and good management of stressful situations.
  • Rigorous, organised and methodical mind.
  • Autonomous, responsible and proactive attitude.
  • Seamless decision-making ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good general culture.
  • Good level of English required (written and spoken), fluency in German is an asset.

MISSIONS:

The production manager is responsible for the preparation, the budget, the progress of an event production. He exercises this responsibility during the entire project, from preparation to final delivery of the project.

  • Source and select venues for technical site inspections.
  • Proposing technical recommendations within the design event phase.
  • Prepare the supplier’s specifications and negotiate quotes.
  • Manage the budget balance of an event using the CRM of the agency in the production phase.
  • Control the artistic approach of the project in progress.
  • Negotiate and carry out, in the best conditions, purchases and contracts of engagement, insurance, various technical service providers or services.
  • Follow the different phases of the project by ensuring compliance with the specifications and deadlines.
  • Establish service sheets, supervise and manage providers and ground teams.
  • Arrange, organize and coordinate the work (days, places, schedules, stage managers, cameramen, sound engineers, graphic designers, sound technicians, lights, audiovisual, special effects).
  • Respect the legal, regulatory and administrative constraints.
  • Achieve plans of the event scenography, a decoration, the light, the sound, and the compilation of technical datas.
  • Validate production documents in coordination with the event project manager.
  • Manage on site the production and scenography teams.
  • Coordinate and manage all providers.
  • Follow decor elements production.
  • Ensure the operational management, if required, during the assembly and dismantling of events.
  • Perform an artistic and strategic monitoring, follow trends.

REQUIRED PROFILE :

  • Master degree in a communication or business school and have at least 6 years’ professional experience in an events agency or in corporate events management.
  • Rigorous, methodical and know how to manage effectively several projects at the same time.
  • Know-how to manage and develop a client portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and know-how to convince those around you.
  • Experience in supervising production teams on site.
  • Editorial skills that allows you to synthesize and present your ideas with ease.
  • Dynamic and keen to take initiatives that contribute to the commercial development of the agency.
  • Appreciate thinking about creative concepts and making them come true.
  • Knowledge of the events techniques and how to implement them.
  • You can integrate print, web and video solutions into event concepts.
