On 7 and 8 November 2014, on behalf of the Fonds National de la Recherche Luxembourg, Shine a light organised the event Researchers’ Days 2014.
Over two days, more than 3000 visitors of all ages, from budding researchers to tech enthusiasts to the simply curious, gathered at the restored former industrial site of the Carré Rotondes.
Throughout the site, more than 20 workshops, debates and an aperitif evening tackled the subject of science in both a playful and practical manner, with the aim of making it accessible to as many people as possible.
The setting of the event in the spirit of a science “village” lent it a futuristic feel with inflatable domes, myriads of light garlands, cosy spaces conducive to exchange and effective signage.
