Meeting the mobility of tomorrow

Combining the most up-to-date innovation with the most demanding design to epitomise a new vision of the mobility for tomorrow was the challenge that we were committed to by UJET to imagine an exceptional experience around the inauguration of their manufacturing site and the launch of their new electric scooter.

The client to surprise

As a European company of development and industrial design, a spin-off of OCSiAL the global leader for manufacturing graphene nanotubes, UJET focuses all its engineering expertise in designing new materials and smart softwares thought to re-invent the mobility of tomorrow and a more sustainable life in cities.

With this in mind, the electric scooter UJET, with a refined design and sharp and disruptive lines was conceived to integrate, publicise and demonstrate through deeds the nanotechnologies and innovative technics implemented by the brand.

The challenge ahead

The technologies used in UJET’s projects are so innovative that they require being presented and illustrated both in the design process which made them possible and also in the realisations that they manage to concretise.

UJET called on our expertise to organise the inauguration of their manufacturing site and the launch of their electric scooter. We therefore had to create an exceptional meeting between the most up-to-date innovations and stakeholders, partners, suppliers and specialised members of media while proposing a unique brand experience, valuing UJET, developing brand awareness and optimising the corporate image. Get it known, get it adopted, get it loved! That was the challenge!

The starting point was presumably innovation. But how to build a framework about something abstract which goes both beyond reality and even the present?

What we imagined

More than 100 invited guests gathered in a scenography inspired by the brand graphic codes and visual identity: modern lines, futuristic furniture, organic materials, purified curves and pristine white colour.

In the modulated volumes of a space delimited by big white curtains, the factory’s industrial and technological backdrop was not hidden but it was revealed and spotlighted like a walkway between imagination and conception, both at the origin of innovation. The stage and the chairs drew the logo UJET on the floor. Behind the stage, a white background concealed a totally black coffer providing a visual contrast to delineate what is to be presented: the scooter UJET.

The moment of the reveal was coming. Beyond the inauguration of the factory and launch of the scooter, it had to match with the positioning and the brand’s DNA to embody digital, technology, future and urban mobility. To put it in a nutshell, it had to be spectacular! The innovation was amazing, so should be the reveal. And this was with an exclusive sound signature and lit by sets of LED neons that the scooter appeared at last.

To complete the total immersion in innovation, the guests were proposed guided tours of the factory in order to discover the design process and be given the opportunity to scope the extent of possibilities.

Our concept was based on the creation of a timeless space that may foreshadow all the possibilities of the future of mobility.

Conference The Economist Summit at ECCL

In parallel with the inauguration of the factory, we had imagined a stand displaying the graphic and scenic codes of the event in order to present the scooter UJET during the Conference The Economist Summit at ECCL.

OCSiAL Summit at la Maison du Savoir

We realised the scenography for showcasing a scooter in a glass dome to concretely present what the nanotechnologies mastered by OCSiAL enabled to create during the OCSiAL Summit at la Maison du Savoir.

Networking event in front of Neimënster Abbey

In the exceptional landscape of the Bock cliffs, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, we had thought a whole scenography inspired by the catwalks of the fashion shows for a demonstration of the scooters UJET beside the Economist Summit.
